Is it possible to pay multiple months upfront?

We do not take future after the initial deposit to hold upfront.

Do you allow pets?

Small pets are allowed. For further details please see our Pet Criteria.

Can you pay the down deposit in installments?

We only take the full security deposit.

Can I take possession on a later date?

We will only reserve the unit for up to 3 weeks once the deposit to hold is received.

Can your due date work on the 15th?

No. We only accept rent on the first of the month.

Will you consider a short term lease?

Our lease is a minimum of one year, though we are always looking for tenants who plan to stay much longer. The only exception to this is if it is a roommate application. These are typically a month-to-month lease.

Is it ok for me to be on the lease and not my friend/roommates?

We will need to do the same processing for anyone over 18 and have them sign a lease as well.

How will I pay my rent?

Tenants will be able to pay rent via Cozy.co. An email will be sent to to you to setup your account once you have given your deposit to hold.

Can I pay the rent/deposit and move in today?

We require all of the applicants to complete the application process. We currently use the first-come, first-served model and will approve your rental application in the order it is received. If there is an applicant who completed their application prior to you, meets the requirements, and accepts the offer, we will alert all who have applied.

Do credit reports hurt my score?

A Cozy credit report will not lower your credit score. This is because when you order your own credit report, this is considered a soft credit check. How long do background checks take?

Background Check results aren't always returned immediately — it can sometimes take a few business days to run the report. Unfortunately Cozy doesn't have any way to expedite the process. We’ll send you an email to let you know once the check is complete. - Cozy.co
